Carlisle and Byron Pantinakis are the owners and operators of Back Porch Cafe.
They are former Manhattan restaurateurs who have blended the innate sophistication
of a New York City cafe with the Florida laid-back charm.
Both came out of semi-retirement to open a neighborhood place in the Hidden Hills
area. "Not only do we want to provide a comfortable and elegant dining experience,
we want to provide an individualized experience for each of our guests," Byron says.
That experience begins upon entry. Guests are greeted with a soothing palette of
warm honey-beiges and crisp greens and whites. The colors capture the essence of
a well-decorated home where attention has been paid to design but not at the expense
of comfort. The decor evokes not only a comfortably elegant Florida room, but it
is a delightful surprise.
We also provide out-door seating on a cozy veranda. For those that want to linger
and at the same time catch up with their email we provide a wireless hotspot by
Clearwire. We provide a full range of choices on our various menus.
